In childhood, learning is best supported during play. That is the belief of many therapists, including our own here at Tender Touch Paediatric Rehab. As such, our daily combo package includes a therapy session outside of the centre once every two months for the children enrolled in the programme.

This May, we went to The Parenthood for the first time since this implementation of this inclusion in 2022. It turned out to be a wondrous place full of many different types of fun that had even our attending therapists excited.

A massive ball pool with interactive screen, a mechanical wind tunnel to "create rain" using balls, different sizes of trampolines, slides and steps to climb, and all sorts of obstacles a child could be challenged with in traversing through the course along the whole location. It was a play-based motor and cognitive therapy dream come true!
